Dr. Robin Fox
Dr. Robin D. Fox is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was also Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor.

Robin completed her undergraduate nursing studies at California State University at Los Angeles in 1979. She completed the Master in Nursing in a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at University of California at Los Angeles in 1984. Her graduate studies included thesis development related to domestic violence. She later became Board Certified as a Reproductive, Endocrinology and infertility Nurse. She completed a Masters in Science of Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University in 2011 with special emphasis in Grief, Trauma and Crisis. Graduate studies included research implementing Horticultural Therapy to Improve Executive Function in survivors of trauma. She obtained a Post Masters MSN as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University in 2012. She obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2017 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Her doctoral research addressed Caregiver Stress Reduction using Gardening for those caring for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Robin Fox has historically advocated for the mental health care needs of children, adolescents, adults and caregivers in many Psychiatric, Neurobehavioral, Neonatal Intensive Care, Women’s Health, and Community Court settings that have included Outpatient, Residential, Private and Public Health settings. She has been instrumental in establishing, collaborating, and co-facilitating support groups for women suffering from infertility, post-partum depression adjustment issues as well as survivorship after trauma.
She currently sees children, adolescents, and adults utilizing counseling, psychotherapy and medication management strategies. She treats a variety of mental health disorders including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Trauma, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, and Schizophrenia.
I am a former organic Lavender and Herb Farmer.
In my spare time: I enjoy Working in my garden and hiking.
My perfect day includes: Harvesting and preparing food I have grown sustainably myself.
Dr. Fox practices from a Trauma informed lens. She has a special interest in Strength-Based counseling approaches, Empowerment issues, the treatment of Survivorship and Thriving after Trauma, Grief, and Perinatal Depression.
